A service user will share a talk on the history of visually impaired people, while our team explores the story of Anna Williams and life in the household of Samuel Johnson.

When Cecil Harmsworth, MP, newspaper man and member of the Johnson Club, walked through Gough Square in 1911, Dr Johnson’s House was in poor repair and facing an uncertain future. His determination to save and restore it ensured the House survived for future generations.
