So true!
So true!
When the State Department orders non-essential diplomats out of Saudi Arabia, it signals how dangerous the regional situation has become. Missile and drone threats tied to the expanding Iran conflict are now reaching diplomatic sites, a reminder that escalation rarely stays contained.
I really love this

This is what ecocide looks like.
Finally blocked someone on bsky. Idk where they got off asking me to justify my opinion about anything. My opinions are mine. Yours are yours. Mutual respect, even when we disagree, is basic civility. Online self-care is curating your experience, including blocking whenever you see fit.

How was it any any way not? What kind of question is that?
When public office becomes performance and spectacle replaces dignity, even state ceremonies start looking like campaign props. Leadership is measured by responsibility and restraint, not by turning solemn moments into branding opportunities.
Political cartoons cut through rhetoric with one sharp image. When leaders treat war like theatre while cities burn and civilians suffer, satire becomes a mirror. The question it raises is simple: who pays the real price for power plays sold as strategy?

Lan Wangji randomly stopped into the new cafe a few weeks ago, and now he comes every day even though it is technically out of the way from his university.
This International Women's Day, please remember that trans women are women. Full stop. No qualifiers.
You responded to me, but I think you meant to respond to @wwxwashere.bsky.social
...yet when it started nagging me. And it's just such a relief to just turn my laptop on and have everything work
My laptop is far from new, but it had pretty decent specs. But windows kept hounding me to buy a new laptop for windows 11 and a fairly common rude response bubbled up in me every time I had to wait longer for my laptop to boot, so windows could check its compatibility with 11 which wasn't even out
Yeah, a big lift without a lot of experience with linux systems. It took courage. I was lucky to have a friend who was willing to hook me up and he even installed all the programs I could think of to list. And I think I can handle finding other things I need from this point on. Not missing windows!

Screenshot of an X post by Acyn quoting an exchange between Nancy Mace and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz during a hearing. Walz responds that he is the governor of Minnesota and not there to serve as a prop for her obsession. Below is a video still showing Walz seated at a hearing table with a nameplate reading βGovernor Walz.β
That's what Iβm talking about!
I think it's important to have someone who's conversant in linux to help guide you through the early stages. I made the switch to an arch distro (cachyOS) and it's been really smooth and intuitive
Invoking troop loyalty to force votes for another open-ended Middle East war is the oldest trick in Washington. Supporting soldiers should never mean blank-check funding for reckless wars of choice. Patriotism includes refusing to finance aggression dressed up as duty.
What an absolute surprise π
Before rockets leave Earth, truth first leaves a mathematicianβs notebook. Katherine Johnsonβs work shows progress is not only made by astronauts in suits but by brilliant minds too often excluded. When barriers fall, humanity advances. Recognition still matters today.
Absolutely! Especially when a certain segment of the population is again trying to exclude people on the basis of race, sex, gender, disability, country of origin, 1st language, and religion. Our differences are our greatest strength. Gratitude to Katherine Johnson for her part in proving that!
Il y a écrit "PRAY FOR MY PEOPLE" et "STOP WAR IN IRAN". Le dessin est entièrement en noir, blanc, rouge et vert.
all set up! Weee!!!

i really reject the idea that your every hobby has to be good or profitable. i think itβs the opposite really. the more useless and pointless a hobby is, the more i escape from the claws of capitalism to be human even if for just a moment.
