Yo Apple. Please have Siri understand that when I refer to a “twelve-hour drive” I am not referring to a residential street with a name “12 Hour” (e.g. “12 Hour Dr.” which is what you just typed when I dictated)

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
Pretense.
Ideation.

At the post house.
New construction; simple parapet roof and arched windows.
Hitler and Mussolini were also obsessed with classical architecture and style.
How to revere the past.
Seizing the property of private organizations to punish dissent is totalitarianism.
It is illegal, anti-Conservative, Soviet, and sickening.
Yet people who drool ‘freedom’ whisper not a word to object. Lift not a finger.
Excited for this review of Claire Kahane's book.

Norfolk Pacific is probably a better name than Union Southern. But they’ll probably hire some agency to rebrand the company something like Ralea

Excerpt ID the International Design Magazine’s “Plates Du Jour” article by Lukas Hauser ———— In Illinois, a precedent-setting license plate election was held in 1999. "It's nice to give motorists a hand in it." says state spokesperson Randy Nehrt, "They want visitors to recognize our state." (Design snobs might say the winning entry demonstrates why democracy should never be used in this way again.) Other faux pas: using clipart (e.g., Michigan's "Auto Industry Commemorative" plate) or silly typography (e.g., Missouri’s use of the Lithos font on its 1997 plate - so 1990!) to decorate an otherwise uninspired design. Recently, a new minimalism has countered this garishness: Kansas's wheat glyph and Wyoming's cowboy icon complement rugged slab-serif fonts, and Montana went from a teal-and-orange sports-utility look to an ethereal sci-fi motif for its 2000 prototype. The standard-bearer for license-plate connoisseurs has to be Rhode Island's 1996 series, designed with Bodoni flair by Rhode Island designer Tyler Smith. Aside from nicely kerned type, Rhode Island's plate has elegant dark blue numerals and typography, with a simple wave graphic pushed gently to the background.
From ID Magazine, circa 2000. (The International Design magazine.) Notice the Rhode Island shoutout
