A fun little thing I only noticed recently:
If you spec Sylv into Swords and Litheness, you get an N (for Norberto).
If you spec Sylv into Knives, Showmanship and a little Litheness, you get an S (for Sylvando).

An amusing thought just crossed my mind as I put-together Sylv's base equipment: He only spent 350 gold TOTAL on his feathered cap and wayfarer's clothes.
Assuming gold = yen, then that's 350 yen.
That's equal to £1.65, or $2.21.
Guess he really didn't want to be found-out.

When the only way to get hairbands is in act two, as drops from iron maidens in Heliodor Castle or the Costa Valor, or from a bag o' laughs in the Altar of the Forgotten Past.
Seems like an accidental but VERY big oversight.
Having listed everyone's base equipment (what they start with in their bags) for my current DQXI fun run, I can't help but wonder how Veronica and Serena each have a hairband, starting in act one.

Thinking about this again, and now wondering if Dave wears earrings under his mask. He may not have been a knight, but he DID serve in the Zwaardsrustian Royal Navy once upon a time.
I'm not saying there's any correlation between Derk and his earrings, but it seems awfully too coincidental.
