I unfortunately canβt recall what I wrote as the description for this piece but despite me hoping that I was going to win the $1K to help my ma, I lost cause wellβ¦no one saw it π. But she told me that she was impressed that my composition skills have improved so thatβs a W for me.
But other than that this was when I was at my all time low and I just felt like social media was seriously warping me in and making me feel so overwhelmed. Like it wasnβt my escape from reality anymore cause even reality was looking pretty bad at that time.
Looking back at this is funny now but at the moment I didnβt the contest was mostly like a popularity contest. Like it wasnβt a good idea to submit early and if your piece isnβt in the front page then youβre just auto disqualified. +
