Does Low Voter Turnout Matter? Evidence from Europe | Voters and non-voters in European democracies often hold similar views. But when gaps emerge, they are not trivial and their impact depends on turnout.

European parties have become more elite since WWII, with the number of working-class ministers decreasing. A recent study by @manuelwagner.bsky.social & @laurenzennser.bsky.social analyses the state of worker’s descriptive representation.
