I don't disagree but ourhealth insurance is tied to our employment and these people risk losing their jobs. ICE has detailed people here for MONTHS that have done nothing other than peacefully protest. It is very hard to get a critical mass of people willing to lose their entire lives in a moment.
When Trump meets one on one with someone you think he'd hate it usually goes well. The problem is that he'll start threatening NYC two days after this.

They've done some very very evil work quietly around the country when you read, but the only big operation they undertook with brutality was in the Chicago suburbs. Even here in Portland it's almost complete theater, meanwhile they've been more covert in suburbs by not using huge numbers of feds.
They've been operating in open carry states before, I don't think Charlotte is anything unique. They just are getting met with resistance everywhere and people are wisely not responding with violence so that they can crack down harder. We've had protests near me at the ICE facility for months.

I'm sure you've been covering this, but the amount of helicopter noise over SW Portland, the Waterfront, etc. has been insane the past week. It's louder than ever near where I'm at, I counted four helicopters in the sky at one point. It seems like they'll keep this up forever.
