i am completely fine with biden pardoning his kid. i have one single complaint about biden and clemency and it's...not this! here are my thoughts:
Yeah. The idea that this will somehow enable Trump to do something he otherwise wouldn’t have is silly.
It looks bad. It’s also understandable. It’s only unforgivable if he doesn’t pair it with a historically huge act of clemency for a ton of people who aren’t his son.
A lot of people think everything will work out if we just play by the rules but don’t seem to recognize that rules only matter when everyone agrees to follow them and, well, that isn’t our present reality.
