ooh maybe! I've heard good things about them

ooh those look fun, but I'm hoping for a slimmer leg. I'll probably play around with mashing up some patterns I already own.
free range slacks would be perfect but the fabric is a mini gingham and i don't want to pattern match all those side panels. maybe i need to pattern hack.
i want flowy, but not too flowy (not the freys or june), not a full barrel leg (not bob or arthur), no side panel (not free range), not tapered (no arden or fremantle).
maybe the style arc ethel?
trying to decide which elastic waist pants pattern to use for a new project is difficult when you have "too many" elastic waist pants pattern
we did it gang
haha I love the universal experience of grandma's stash. Tina was my sewist grandma and I think she'd be happy I'm still using her notions!
i found bigger ones after this that i'm actually going to use, i think the ones pictured are too small.
a vintage package of hooks eyes and loops
it is a miracle
i am sewing a pair of trousers and completely ignored the materials list after checking if i had enough fabric. every step feels like a surprise about what notion I am going to need to find. i found the right size button, i found the right size elastic. will i find a hook and eye closure? stay tuned
lol, it does kind of look like a ship's wheel!
a grey and white cat is sitting on a white dining chair. the chair is in front of an antique spinning wheel. There is white roving in a basket on the floor in front of the chair and some white spun yarn on the bobbin of the spinning wheel

I would like to thank SA Chakraborty for writing the Daevabad trilogy, which was what I listened to for most of this project.
I did it.
starting on the backstitching! the end is in sight!

oh hey, welcome. pull up a chair.
yesterday I had to pick out the letters F-L because I missed one stitch in the letter F and the whole border was off. back on track now and I might get that corner finished tonight?
a mirror selfie of me in blue barrel leg pants, a black button down dress and a long beige cardigan
trying more new combinations: the dress over pants. not sure how I feel about it. I wore a lot of dresses over pants 20 years ago and it was not a good look.
an unfinished cross stitch sampler is laying on a pink and white blanket. the sampler is blue fabric with white stitching.
progress! I think I have 2.5 pages of the pattern left (it's 6 pages total). I bought the last 4 hanks of white floss at the big box store on Sunday, so hopefully that is enough to finish it? I'm not optimistic that it is enough.
a white person takes a mirror selfie. they are wearing a blue jacket, green handknit sweater and black corduroy pants. they have curly brown hair, a lighter brown bag and shoes, and glasses.
truly a miracle - got dressed 3 days in a row. wearing almost all homemade.

I have never purchased from them, but they are great inspiration for sewing and knitting!
