I would spend so much more time on Nintendo Classics apps if you could disable them. They're especially annoying with OLED Switch because of how bright they are + additional stress over the screen life.
Tbf the screen size on the right is identical to what it will be in Castlevania Collection if you turn the Pixel Perfect option on. I assume game here runs at 1440x960 which would be 6x integer scaling of original GBA resolution, so it's not about the borders (I still hate them tho...)

People don't usually mean it in this way, but Dragon Quest VII Reimagined might actually be the first ever remake that truly looks "soulless". Like if I have to point my finger on someone who has no soul, the MC here is exactly the reference I have in my head.
Am I looking too much into it or does this Anthem mention feels tad passive aggressive? Even though Casey was the one pitching the game in a way executives wanted to hear, he wasn't director on it and only spend a pretty short time as an executive producer.

We used to call any release like this a "Definitive Edition" and Berseria definitely deserves one (especially since it's not on Switch), but there's nothing remastered about this one

Wandering Sword is one of my favourite games of the last few years, it has some problems with things like UI and Controls, but other than that a very nice experience.

That said I still really want a proper Bloodlines successor and I understand why so many people are mad about this game not being that. As someone who pre-ordered it day one all the way back in 2019 it's definitely not what I expected back then.
Played a few hours of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 and honestly tech stuff aside it's a pretty decent game, especially if you don't expect it to be anything like the first one. It won't scratch the same itch as VTMB, but I think I'll enjoy it overall

I'm already very pessimistic about the global adoption of Unreal Engine, as I think it's being used as a way to devalue the long-term employees of companies that previously worked with proprietary engines by making them easily replaceable, but the performance analysis videos certainly aren't helping
The only thing I like about wplace so far is that it exposed me to a huge number of Splatoon nerds that apparently live in my area.

If I had to guess they're targeting erotic games that use disclaimers how "it's all a roleplay and everyone in this story is 18+" while characters are obviously meant to be minors. And I don't even think it's a bad idea, but it's so poorly written I doubt it'll be used for anything good

Randomly picked up Caligula Effect 2 a few weeks ago and I'm so confused by how practically no one talks about this JRPG. Extremely unique combat, really progressive themes with a great cast of characters and amazing music. You would expect people to talk about it as much as they do with E33...

I remember back in the day it was THE game in my area, everyone would have their own bootleg disk with some modpack they would trade with other people so I feel like I spent 1000s of hours on it overall.
I genuinely feel like this might kill the game. Even Nintendo aren't going $80 for all of their games for now. The Outer Worlds 2 looks amazing from everything I've seen and I'm extremely excited about it, but I'm not sure if many people are willing to buy it at this price
