Aaaand 9 minutes till we lose an hour 😂 I'm fine.
I wonder how behavior would change on a social and political scale if all of the "God fearing" people adhered to John 8:7-11. (TL;Dr 'Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone'). At very least, a lot of time and resoirces could be redirected.
My inability to freeze (and unfreeze) time is becoming increasingly frustrating.
If you want to play Devil's Advocate, you really need to bring more to the table than scepticism.
When you make a generalization, you're talking about theoretical people. So if you're you're telling yourself a story anyway,
and if life is short and you have limited time,
and if there's already enough bad things in the world,
why would the stories you choose to tell yourself be negative ones?
If you find yourself saying things like, "people don't ---" or "people are all ---" — I would like to remind you that you are people, and that while, yes: bad choices exist — good ones do too. So why are you choosing to focus on a concept that may frown your spirit instead of uplifting it?

Like, it's SUCH a small detail, but you really don't see yellow cabs here. United Cab Co is the only one that sometimes actually shows when you call them, and they are black and white. I'm sure they chose a yellow cab for larger cultural visual shorthand, BUT then I realized everyone Ubers anyway.

Wild how I gained 3 followers on TikTok last night and yet my total follower count is now one less today than it was yesterday.
