I am currently reading Steinbeck’s Cannery Row. As a dog lover, I very much enjoyed his description of Darling.

That would be to assume that Charles - or any member of the Royal Family - had a backbone. They serve no useful purpose.

He left behind an amazing body of work. Orphee is one of my favourites.

I have the vinyl! It’s a good album. I saw Mark Kozelek live in London a few years ago. Good concert but he never plays any of his back catalogue. Also really like Admiral Fell Promises and April by Sun Kil Moon.
