Of all the games in the series, Final Fantasy VIII remains my favorite.
It was the first I played, and I have so many wonderful memories bound up in its music, its characters, and its world.
I'll never forget sharing it with @montyglu.bsky.social as we watched a speed-run of it together, either.

I was taught "If you're not going to do it right, don't do it at all."
Nowadays I try to stick to "Get it done first, then make it good."
I'm still a perfectionist, but it comes AFTER I'm done making something.

I enjoy singing, even if I'm not adept at it. There's a feeling of freedom and just pure contentment that I can't quite describe when I'm doing so.
But I'm also horribly self-conscious about how I sound.
I'd love to learn it properly some day, if only to settle that notion one way or another.
Allow me to make myself perfectly clear:
I will never support anything that uses "Generative A.I.".
It tells me the person using it doesn't actually care about what they're doing.
And if they can't be bothered to give a shit about what they're making, why the hell should I?
