Few figures in the Watergate investigation proved more crucial than Alexander Butterfield, who died Monday at 99.
His revelation of the White House tapes propelled the events that led to former president Richard Nixon’s resignation in 1974.

My favorite scene in Manhunter is when Dolarhyde’s madness makes him misconstrue what happens when Reba’s co-worker innocently drops her off after work. The Prime Movers song, the intense lighting, Noonan’s baleful look and tearing apart the van’s dashboard. Amazing all around.
Ofelia Torres, the teenage Chicago Public Schools student whose fight against cancer while her father was detained by ICE came to represent the federal government's overreach during Operation Midway Blitz, has died. Brave young woman. I will never forget her. RIP.
The MCA should respond by installing a Wesley Willis drawing of Comiskey Park
A screaming comes across the sky. It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now. It was clavicular, after being jestermaxxed by a gigachad from ASU

4) Can I get the tariff fee refunded too or is that lost forever?I've tried calling UPS, DHL etc. to ask but they seem, well, disinclined to answer with any specificity.
Can anybody answer a dumb question? 1) I buy a sick watch from Sweden from retailer with a 30 day full refund policy but tariff fees aren't included in their price 2) it's shipped here via UPS, and I get charged for tariffs, which I pay to the shipper (assuming 15%) 3) I decide to return the watch

You other sailors can't deny
When a fish rolls in as a pale and eerie sight

Oh, Moby
I wanna stop goonin'
And get harpoonin'

Some guy on LinkedIn (!?!?) is claiming that Denmark's richest man, Anders Holch Povlsen--who owns retail chain Bestseller and is the largest shareholder of ASOS, as well as being the biggest landowner in Scotland--now owns 75% of Drake's. Who really knows, but fans of the brand should be aware.
Interesting news for menswear dorks: Mark Cho announced on Instagram today that he sold his ownership stake in Drake's earlier this month but didn't name the new owner in his post. Cho says Michael Hill will stay on as co-owner and managing and creative director, which seems ideal.
