Oh man, larger consoles are always crazy cheap in the NYC 2nd hand market, which is so exciting till I keep remembering I have no room for a larger console. 😭

Remember parents, it’s “send your kids to schools with a vintage Japanese synthesizer day”!

And of course, it cost more fuel to carry more fuel.
Perhaps a future episode with a gigantic cockroach totem.

Yeah, I absolutely think they were ahead of their time and would be much bigger hit today. But can also understand why the company wouldn’t think I’m right.
Oh man, making the G2 nearly bankrupted Nord. It’s such a cool product though.
This is fundamentally why I haven’t enjoyed LLMs in music making, imagine trying to answer this awkward question to a slot machine.

Broken US tax policy allows for more favorable tax deductions if a business uses a heavier vehicle so the govt pays you more to make traffic worse and more dangerous, wear out roads more quickly, burn more carbon, and support fascists.
At the moment prompt based generation combines all the joy of awkward conversational small talk to explain “the kind of music you make” to a stranger, with the UI of a slot machine.
This conversation reminds me a bit of a recent video from Mylar Melodies. Rather than criticize people who buy and play around with music gear and don’t release music, we should recognize that those folks are making music for the intrinsic value of making music.
People used to smoke inside malls, literally the trashcans in the halls had ashtrays on top of them.
I’m curious if you’ve ever heard this bit of flamenco from the homogenic sessions? m.youtube.com/watch?v=xT41...
The Peripheral.
I’d expect the people doing truly interesting new music with AI are going to be folks creating their own models, weights, etc. if you are just prompting someone else’s model you will always be playing by their rules, and the same rules everyone else is using.
It’s not lowering to their level, if you want to create a bipartisan movement to eliminate gerrymandering, you have to make it really really hurt both parties. If only GOP use it to their favor they will never work to remove it.
Gerrymandering is terrible practice. Why wait for Texas to abuse the system? If Dems really want to get rid of it, CA and NY should just immediate gerrymander out all 16 of their Republican seats. See how fast the courts reconsider its legality.
Oh interesting, apparently many publishers used a Y to substitute for a missing þ thorn character. So, “Ye olde” was always meant to be pronounced “the olde”
You misspelled “ruining”… it’s “ruining our music industry”
There are also a bunch of audio interfaces that work as a mixer when the computer isn’t on. I know motu and a bunch of others can be powered up
and send a mix straight through
@12tone.nebula.tv if it helps there is a small Wikipedia entry around this technique under the name “Turn the beat around”. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turning...
Well now you’ve just described both parties and many voters.
Yeah, they’d rather be losers than respect the voters.
Yes, the is the entire point! To win an election you need to appeal to those folks not already in your party. And they did that, they just spent all their time trying to cater to republicans.
