Pretax commuter card works on subways but doesn’t have a chip so I always had to use it to buy metro cards. And now this. You could already tap to pay so all this seems to have done is spend a ton of money and hassle to make the cards a different color. Classic bureaucracy move.
Arrived in NYC and bought the new MTA “OMNY” card. Which works exactly like a MetroCard. Raising the question: WHY THE FUCK DID THEY REPLACE THE METROCARD?”

In January, I told you all that the only accountability for the DOJ's ethical violations would be state disciplinary agencies. So today the DOJ moved to take away their legal authority.
