We also had the honor of celebrating Brandan Hayes as the Patrick L. Eiden Young Engineer of the Year, recognizing his outstanding work and dedication to the field.

In honor of Ohio Loves Transit Week and #BlackHistoryMonth, we're showcasing Elijah McCoy, who invented an automatic engine lubricator used for trains and other heavy equipment. Previously, engines had to be stopped before necessary lubrication could be applied.
Partnership pays off! DPS has a salt exchange plan with local municipalities. Our salt barns allow us to hold excess salt, so when others need more, we have their back. Then when snow covers the streets, they have specific plow routes they assist us with.
