A few photos from our recent trip to The Gambia with @naturetrek.bsky.social . Most pleased to get 3 new species of Bee-eater, two of which here... Little and Swallow-tailed.

Although not one of the highest high tides at RSPB Snettisham this morning, it still gave us a vibrant spectacle of waders to enjoy.

Delighted to watch this Wren making good use of our garden dust bath.

Another highlight of our @oriolebirding.bsky.social Estonia trip were the numerous Montagu's Harriers we encountered throughout the week. This male was quartering a field in front of us.

Recently returned from an incredible 8-day birding trip to Estonia organised by @oriolebirding.bsky.social, with leaders @birdinghaapsalu.bsky.social & @jonathanfarooqi.bsky.social 180+ species recorded including Ural Owl, Greenish Warbler and Booted Warbler.

A welcome opportunity to practise my gull ID when this 1st winter Mediterranean Gull turned up at Verulamium Park, St Albans...
