Thank you!
I used US 2.5 and US 4. I used a two color tubular cast on π
it doesn't look like it!!
My kids are on the older side (17 and 18) - they don't require as much "hands-on," so I knit to distract myself from the dumpster fire around us.
LOVE! LOVE! Your tension is amazing, too!
WOW! I'm so flattered, but I don't sell my work. I have such a hard time keeping up with my kids' requests that I just don't have the time! You could try a local knitting store and see if they can connect you with someone locally. You can get the pattern here www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Yes!
I purchased it the other day!
Hand-knit beanie shown from the back, featuring bold blue-and-cream stranded colorwork. The word βABOLISH ICEβ is knit in large block letters across the center, framed by horizontal bands. Vertical blue-and-cream striping fills the crown and lower edge, with a neatly finished ribbed brim. The hat is photographed indoors, resting on someoneβs knees, highlighting the texture of the stitches and the clarity of the colorwork lettering. A pair of hand-knit mittens laid flat side by side on a light wood floor. The mittens feature blue-green and cream stranded colorwork, with a large hand giving the middle finger in a cool ice looking color across the backs of the hands. The palms are knit in a dense, textured pattern, and the cuffs have vertical striped ribbing for a snug fit. The crisp colorwork and even stitches highlight careful craftsmanship and intentional protest knitting. Today once again proved that everyday citizens protesting their government are braver than the titans who own the largest media corporations, run the biggest law firms and lead the most powerful technology companies.
I hate to break it to you, but heavily-armed government militias are roaming unchecked through US cities and shooting human rights observers dead in the streets. That's happening in our country.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.
I really hate it when scientists keep saying that βwe need to rebuild trust in science,β because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

Thanks! Junction Fiber Mill makes some really incredible yarn.
Reminder that any political party trying to make it harder to vote is sending a clear message: they can't win on their ideas alone.

A partially completed grey sweater lies on a warm wooden floor, glowing softly in natural sunlight. The piece is the Louvre Sweater by Petite Knit, worked in a haloed, cloud-like fabric that shimmers faintly. The yarnβa combination of Marianthi Sock in Flicker and two strands of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in Rainy Dayβcreates a silvery grey base with delicate flecks of pink, blue, yellow, and green. The high ribbed collar and raglan shaping are visible, with stitches resting on circular needles. Two soft, airy mohair balls and a speckled yarn cake sit nearby, hinting at the luxurious texture and lightness of the knit in progress. #knitknitknit #strikstrikstrik #strik #tricopathe #knittingismyyoga #handknit #knittinginspiration #slowfashion #ravelrypattern #craftiverse #yarn #wool #yarnaddict #knitwear #knit #knittting #thacktastic #pullover #sweater #handknitsweater #handknits #jumper #bex_knits2025 #knitsky #craftsky
A person models a partially completed Louvre Sweater by Petite Knit, showing progress on the soft, silvery-grey fabric. The sweater, knit in Marianthi Sock in Flicker held with two strands of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in Rainy Day, has a plush, airy texture with subtle rainbow flecks scattered throughout the stockinette body. The high ribbed turtleneck frames the neckline, and the raglan shaping is clearly visible across the shoulders. The hem remains unfinished, with stitches resting on circular needles. The wearerβs white long-sleeve shirt and dark jeans provide contrast, highlighting the sweaterβs luminous halo and gentle drape. #knitknitknit #strikstrikstrik #strik #tricopathe #knittingismyyoga #handknit #knittinginspiration #slowfashion #ravelrypattern #craftiverse #yarn #wool #yarnaddict #knitwear #knit #knittting #thacktastic #pullover #sweater #handknitsweater #handknits #jumper #bex_knits2025 #knitsky #craftsky
Working on something simple as I wait to start PT to resolve my tendon issues. This cloud-like confection is the Louvre Sweater by Petite Knits, featuring Marianthi Sock yarn in Flicker with two strands of Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair in Rainy Day. It is slow going, but progress is progress.π§Ά
I canβt believe Iβm watching interviews of city mayors talking about how they are coordinating with other mayors to discuss how to protect their residents FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
I know we are βused to itβ but it is absolutely insane
it looks awesome!
A close-up of progress on the Whale Sweater by Linka Neumann, showing stranded colorwork knit in worsted weight yarn. The design features a pale blue whale motif emerging from a deep green background. The ribbed hem in hazy skies blue transitions smoothly into the patterned section. The project is knit with East Coast Yarn Companyβs colorways Blue Spruce and Hazy Skies. The sweater is stretched across circular needles, resting on the knitterβs lap. #tricopathe #knittingismyyoga #knitknitknit #strikstrikstrik #strik #handknit #knittinginspiration #slowfashion #ravelrypattern #craftiverse #yarn #wool #yarnaddict #knitwear #knit #knittting #thacktastic #pullover #sweater #handknitsweater #handknits #jumper #bex_knits2025 #craftsky #knitsky #eastcoastyarnco #linkaneumann #whale #whalesweater

It is STILL the guns. What more has to happen for there to b a change in this country?? When will lawmakers reject dirty NRA $ and stand up for protecting us all?
The next Democratic president should declare that the National Emergencies Act and Article II of the Constitution allow him to:
β’admit D.C. and Puerto Rico as states
β’abolish ICE
β’grant citizenship to any immigrant
β’disband the 5th Circuit
β’expand the Supreme Court
Seriously: Why the hell not?
same!
