Oh hey! I seriously didn't mean anything negative by this - it's more me trying to sound out how I feel in general about media-that-vividly-evokes-other-eras-of-media. I'm not criticising at all the intrinsic artistry of it and I don't doubt that it's a love letter to that aesthetic.
