A mission competition going from two to one candidates directly because of NASA complying with the White House's Presidential Budget Requestβwhich was ultimately ignored by Congress.
A Star Wars "B Wing" first seen in the movie Star Wars Return of the Jedi. Pictured against a blue background of stars and asteroids. A second ship is in tha background in the top right.
B-Wings (again, I make no apologies) I love these ships ever since they made their appearence in ROTJ. #Lightwave3d render of @howieeday.bsky.social 's model.
I think the discussion should be limited to real airplanes.
In researching the article, I discovered that NASA has painted the planes in at least 5 different paint schemes over the years. The current scheme has three grey "cheat lines." A previous scheme had three blue cheat lines. They have also flown in several all-white schemes.
My apologies. I fixed it, but preserved his ugly tie.
My article in this week's Space Review is about NASA's WB-57F aircraft and their Cold War origins.

Good luck. I'm still waiting on my reboot of "Manimal."
"If," yeah, that's the point--it's a big "if." I mean, if horses had wings they could fly, right?
This was not a hugely popular show with a big fan base. And it has been off the air for years. Scrubs was a much more popular show, on a much longer time, and the co-hosts had a popular podcast.
Yes, but it's not cheap. The last episode was 3.5 years ago. Even if they started filming today, the show would not return until a year from now. What studio suit will have confidence that an audience will return for a show that has been gone 4.5 years? It's forgotten.
I know that anything not related to Mars offends you.
Yeah, but if some of them feel they were treated poorly last time, they're going to want more assurances they won't be treated poorly this time. But I think a bigger question is why would Hulu fund this? It's not cheap, and nobody is picketing Hulu calling for a new season. Everybody has moved on.
It depends on more than just his schedule. Is there even money to shoot it? Who wants a show that has been off the air four years or more?
Palicki pointed out that they shot 33 episodes in 6 years, which worked out to 5.2 episodes a year. They were going so long between seasons that they were not getting paid. I think the only way the cast agrees to come back after that is if they get a really good offer.

Actually, he is "Assistant _to_ the Special Envoy for The Shield of the Americas."
It was only an opportunistic side visit during a trip to the area. I did not plan it. I did once have extra time in San Francisco and did a number of visits to Trek IV filming locations.
Considering that they're not providing any other obvious kind of support, like weapons, this is about the most the Russians could do. One downside for the Russians is that it's not very visible to their other allies, so it looks like Russia is doing nothing to help Iran.
Yup. If he is asked about it, he'll probably say that it's the smart thing for them to do.
Maybe I was there on a Friday. We were trying to hit a couple of Star Trek filming locations.
Apparently they had a circuit board that was prone to overheating and catching fire. That destroyed many of them over the years. I cannot remember if it was more likely to happen to the sit-down version or the upright, but apparently the sit-down version is very rare.
The one time I went to visit the area was closed. Cannot remember why--if it was the one day of the week they're not open, or if they were doing construction. Was a bit bummed not to see it.
There were other ways to contact them. Blowing them out of the water without warning far from the combat zone seems provocative.
Because it is near water treatment, does that mean it smells bad?
No. It was not "a mercy." They chose a torpedo they thought was more likely to work.
