Happy Christmas all. I aim to be on here more in '26 (have been less present for various reasons), so what better way now than to say 'Happy holidays!' πŸŽ„

The world may be quite turbulent at the moment, but we can all take at least some solace in the fact that bookstores exist.

Currently at Titchmarsh LNR (my localish reserve, once my very local reserve). Things of note (it's too warm really, but) willow warbler, bullfinch, and what I think was an elephant hawk moth caterpillar (tbc)

The heat beat me today. I had to return home earlier than planned. First Birdfair where I've felt the need to do so, though I've come close in past years. #Birdfair
