In Deutschland habe ich (anekdotisch) von Anstarren, über passiv aggressive Kommentare bis zu Gewaltandrohungen viel erlebt. Zu gewissen Uhrzeiten in bestimmten Verkehrsmitteln hab ich mir dann überlegt ob das Risiko sich anzustecken oder das Risiko auf die Rübe zu bekommen größer ist. 2/2
Tatsächlich habe ich kürzlich eine Weile Teilzeit in Schottland und Deutschland gewohnt und der Unterschied bzgl Kommentaren/Bedrohungen von Fremden weil ich eine FFP2-Maske im öffentlichen Nahverkehr trage war relativ extrem. In Schottland hat mich nie jemand anders behandelt oder angesprochen. 1/2

I have hesitated a bit to post - should I repost, ugh, comment on the state of the world? But today I learned something (on the german/austrian podcast @geschichtefm.bsky.social) that just genuinely fascinated me, which is *drumroll*: We know who published the first bar graph, W.Playfair (1781).
