He's good. 3rd might be a little high but he's better than anything we have at DT, his stats don't quite match up to his play. We'll see but I don't hate it.
Given what the #49ers tend to pick in Round 3, maybe getting a proven player for the pick isn't such a bad idea.

Have the team actually announced it, then? I haven't seen any confirmation, and it would be odd to hire two assistant OL coaches - of course neither have been confirmed by the Niners IIRC but I thought since the newer one was reported, perhaps Sapolu had fallen through.
