The supposedly great defense gave up 524 yards (which would have been 750+ if Miami didn't pull their starting QB at half) so there is nothing inaccurate about my statement. Every player on that defense should voluntarily give their bowl game swag to their offensive counterparts as a thank you. 😉

True. But we have to admit with these unbalanced schedules that 11-1 can mean something VERY different for any team in any of those differences year to year. That's the point with Indiana this year. Good for them for making it. They weren't one of the 12 best teams in the country. We all know that.
Iowa State is talked about as a great defense but if you watched games this year, they are overrated and tend to choke in big moments.
