It is a wargame. And I've had the debacle about the AI with some fans during the development, as I was very interested but totally ignored it once I saw the graphics pre release and immediately spotted the AI-gfx (trained eyes).
Publisher did, I believe, confirm they did so due to being small.
In the end I think many folk just ignored it and threw it away. Pragmatism at its best and absolutely fine.
Same as with AI usage on some game, that even won best game in some coveted (I believe) awards (both will remain nameless).
Wallet is the best argument for and against a publisher.
first instance I saw happening, someone shared a video, of it was with the pre order of First Victories, so not recent as such, but who knows...

Had to use the historical tactics proper (and dice rolling helped). Very very cool.
It is not even that. Is something that simply does not belong.
Not even book sellers do that and they always include a page marker with marketing.
Is unwelcoming, bizarre, unprofessional, abysmal customer care.
I mean, I don't mind one bit risking betting on a new venture, like yours and some other new publishers around, but Mr. Heath has been around for quite a while, I was already a customer with Matrix Games when he had it, so the bet wasn't a bet but expected proper professional output.

Lock n’ Load put religious pamphlets in their game boxes? Probably most offensive thing I’ve ever seen in a hobby that’s sadly full of some incredibly offensive people.
That’s a hard pass for me.
