I Take into My Arms More Than I Can Bear To Hold

(Bloodaxe Books 2008)
I take into my arms more than I can bear to hold I am toppled by the world
a creation of ladders, pianos, stairs cut into the rock a devouring world of teeth where even the common snail eats the heart out of a forest
as you and I do, who are human, at night
yet still I take into my arms more than I can bear to hold

Why independent bookshops strike fear in the heart of Germany’s culture tsar | Fatma Aydemir First he came for Berlin’s film festival. Now it’s books. Wolfram Weimer seems to be on a mission to curb progressive thinking, says Guardian Europe columnist Fatma Aydemir

“Is that the reason why Germany’s culture commissioner, Wolfram Weimer, is now consulting the domestic intelligence agency before approving funds to bookshops?… A quick look at the three bookshops is telling: they are antifascist, they are proud of it and they are institutions in their communities.”

unedited, forgive the grammar mistakes, repetitions.... it's going to be about deniability and impunity in the end. tentative title: "rules are for losers"

yes everything is shaped by the imaginary which is basically not saying very much. structure and causality need more analysis than tendencies.

Pace Kim Sang-Hyun, who I had the pleasure of meeting a long time, I think it's really time to put down to rest the "sociotechnical imaginary" concept for a more granular, materialist and historical analysis of temporality

You know the best way to kill AI? Don't use it. Don't buy it. Don't share it. Don't give the people who use it your labour or your money.
