The hopelessness you feel deep down when it hits you, that you, your loved ones and your very existence mean nothing in the grand scheme of this country, isn’t irrational it’s actually just the most logical conclusion you can come to at this point.
Guess what, nothing has changed locally, state-wide or let alone country-wide. At least 70% of the people I see every month have been there every month since I started.
Because guess what? The elites have won in this country, full stop. There is legitimately nothing that can be done this far in.
American propaganda has been effective to the point of convincing 99.9% of people that anything left of AOC-genre liberalism, is kook behavior & we’re dreaming too large. I’ve taken part in a monthly food drive, clothes donations & bi-monthly marches for my local communist chapter for two years now.
And what can we do? Leftists continue to push organizing and making impacts locally, & the eyes that may open, which sure, yeah true. Join the most local movement you identify with, do something, I’ll never argue AGAINST that…but let’s be honest here, we’re fighting against an army with water guns.
Prices continue to rise, rent gets higher, mental and physical illness continue to rise at alarming rates, and the majority continue to lose all hope at retirement or a feasible future.
All of this coming in the context of 99% of Americans being under the disillusion that one of these parties has your back (they don’t), which ends up creating an ouroboros in which the population stay in the same pattern, while the power vacuum for the elite only continues to grow.
