One thing that’s fun about reading comedies about BL and BL parody comics is seeing the artist’s personal preferences bleed through 🤣
(There’s actually been a number of artbooks from overseas artists I haven’t been able to buy, it’s very sad)
I miss de minimus…… (just opened instagram to find that vanilla gallery is doing an exhibit for a BL artist I like)
The worst part about buying zines! I haven’t quite figured this out yet either
We over-bought masa for tamales last year, so my dad’s been using it to make blue corn atole, which I haven’t had since I was a kid. Def gonna have him show me how he makes it, bc I miss it.
The first social media I really used was tumblr, and it was very common to have an art-only blog there. I miss that!

I’ve been seeing that tweet around today and was like “oh that’s me” Literally got my dad to sign up for one by making him drive me to the library and telling him that a card would give him access to a new streaming service 🤣
She really was kinda the perfect guest for that audience, and I would love if someone asked her again

Figured out my schedule for my first week back at work today, and I somehow managed to give myself my birthday off with out realizing??? Go me!

Realizing that Levi’s used to have the perfect replacement base for one of my old jackets, but it’s sold out is making me so sad 😞 (I really miss that one, so hopefully I can find something that works at some point)

I had this on hold on Libby, and somehow did not realize who the artist was until I opened it, a pleasant surprise!
One of those very funny, extremely online types of drama bc irl it’s more like: me, a primarily BL reader, in the library with my friend, a primarily yuri reader, pointing out every yuri title I can spot to her.
