An SNP Administration is in place in Dumfries and Galloway. They preside over cuts to Dumfriesshire's budget
caused by SNP Government that has systematically cut funding for local authorities. A negative synergy that is detrimental for the residents and the constituency.

The biggest complaint across Dumfriesshire is potholes. £130m taken from D&G Council by the SNP since 2011 and a demand for £35m more in cuts.The SNP will tax you more whilst starving our communities of funds, that's why our roads don't get repaired.

Many people in D&G have concerns re. the COSLA CE 12-23% pay award and any 'knock on' effects for highest paid Council staff, when our lowest paid staff earn £13.06 per hour & we have £30m of cuts to make to our budget. I will always ensure constituents concerns are heard🌹

In my role as a local Cllr I campaign constantly to increase funding for social care in D&G but the SNP have delivered a budget that according to the IFS will "almost certainly not be enough to maintain let alone improve services." Devastating news for service users & their families

I totally agree with you re. front line staff, e.g. under the SNP front line police numbers in Scotland are at an all time low. But we have too many quangos, inc. 14 territorial health boards that under #ScotLab would be slimmed down to 3 to put more resourcing into the front line and economy.
