I don't think I know any irl or on here but every single bio lists a current book project or a/many published book/s--expected, presumably, for tenure. Will Bucknell--upon closing Bucknell UP--stop expecting their own fac to publish books?

This is so far from even remotely being correct that I have no emotional reaction. I am just in shock.
What happens now? They going to garnish my check for this amount?
Today I learned that it’s not “special treatment” but “ basic kindness” that students are asking for when they want me to break the rules for them at the expense of other students.

When we lean on AI that is making mistakes our students are going to lose trust in us (ironically I doubt that will correlate with losing trust in the AI they use …)
