koopas aren’t greatures cus they’re hard for me to draw
shy guys are greatures. goombas are greatures
it is a shame WB has been keeping these shorts in a vault for 3 years. Animation should be this greasy and different and fun and we need bigger studios to fund that shit! Not just another animated sitcom-like.
new Cartoon Cartoons short this week is INSANELY NOT FOR KIDS, but is a kick ass, nasty, R-rated horror short called "DUCK" www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC1_... (cw: cussin' and blood and eye stuff, seriously)
oh nasty, i loved this one
lmao god bless it, that leon is great
panel 1: older lady with glasses and leon s kennedys hair on the phone saying "Hello, Mr. X? this is Mrs. kennedy... uh-huh... that's right..."
panel 2: close up leon s Kennedy (old), scared face. off panel his mom continues "i just wanted to let you know Leon hasnt been eating his vegetables.."

Damn it’s the Last Day!!! Get what you want, cus it looks like Last Place is in First
the ugly wild west of the third season of syndicated cartoons where no one gives a shit what they’re doing, it’s all grist for the mill, including poorly drawn in-jokes and parody of their industry.
scenes from The Mask animated series where animaniacs-parody animal children visit the city. They are real and everyone is fine with that. The Mask loves them and Stanley does too.
Docter and many other old timers at Pixar wanted to deal with heavier, more serious issues like grief and emotional regulation, with tons of “therapy speak” in Inside Out, Wall-E, and Up. But when it’s queer themes it’s all “Back off loser, I’m not your therapist. I’m just here to sell popcorn!”
i hope the third Monsters, Inc. movie will be about a new up-and-coming slick Monster executive that believes the company “should go back to scaring kids.”
it's almost a dig at everyone at pixar trying to write their own personal thing. But again, this guy did Inside Out and "Turning Red" was the last pixar movie that moved me to tears over it's themes
just a really annoying interview with the guy. All bad thoughts all the way down in spite of such a good movie.
they need to get out of the bay area, stat
the last two good pixar movies were ones that were not "noun" city, too. And they're trying to get more franchise material in the bank.
it does what very little other Pixar movies have lately: make me smile
Pete Docter, if you need a stronger back bone, how about your stupid fucking ukulele as an implant. otherwise, retire bitch
Daaamn! That answer could use some work!
like, "Hoppers" was great! Nothing wrong with a good, solid funny movie. But everything else Pete says in this has got me all:
damnn! sucks that such a good movie like "Hoppers" has to be at the behest of such a loser that says shit like this and only serves to suck disney's toes.
A small plushie of KC Green’s “this is fine” dog with two paintings, one of lava and one of a screaming flaming skull
here is @kcg.bsky.social’s “this is fine” dog posing with a practice piece and a work in progress. seemed thematically appropriate
