Yes, taking 30+ short MPRAGE scans as was done here wouldn't be feasible in a typical neuroimaging experiment (and hence PoC!). We're hopeful that compressed sensing sequences with faster (~1 min) AT will prove more useful and realistic in longitudinal studies over short time intervals.
**New Preprint** We show that pooling morphometric estimates via "cluster scanning" (i.e., repeat T1w MPRAGE scans with AT = ~2 min/ea.) allows detection of cortical atrophy in phenotypically vulnerable regions in phenotypes of AD and FTLD over 3- and 6-months.
