here in brazil if you want to enroll to HSK3 you MUST have the HSKK1, of course paying for both separately. But here if you didn’t take the HSKK1 you cannot enroll to the HSK3 (same thing for HSKK2 and HSK4, and HSKK3 and HSK6)

only HSK1, HSKK combines HSK1 and 2

no no, you must do it only if you want to enroll to HSK3
