Mt. Lebanon parking tickets led me on a quest for transparency A Mt. Lebanon resident questions parking enforcement, police transparency and selective ticketing after filing Right-to-Know Law requests.

The cops are always the bad guys. Always.

I Will Never Forgive Trae Young For Surpassing Kobe Bryant's Career High For Assists In A Game Eight Times | Defector Kobe Bryant was not just some normal NBA player. No indeed: He was the second-best shooting guard in the history of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise, and something like the 11th-best Laker overall, an...

Boston’s β€˜zombie labs’ delusion - The Boston Globe The region is sitting on millions of square feet of empty life-science space. To turn it into housing, we’ll have to get creative.

Thanks to BPDA tapping a loophole in 100 Acres Plan legalese, instead of 33% housing we were GUARANTEED when upzoning thru 60 public meetings, 3 of 5 towers on Gillette’s former 9.5 acre parking lots were permitted as labs. 1 office tower. 1 residential. πŸ‘‰πŸΌ 17% www.bostonglobe.com/2026/03/09/o...

Can I bill you for the time it takes me to research how to make sure this shit isn't on?

In short, fuck off.

Fantastic night with @attacktheatre.bsky.social's Once in a While show, set to the songs of the Grateful Dead.

Special thanks to Hawk from the Owsley Stanley Foundation for a great talk about Bear's work with the Dead & many others, and for playing some rare & unreleased audio from the archives.

I will also say that it’s a bit wild to me that no press freedom organization or professional journalistic association has tried to contact me or even put out a statement here.

I mean Jesus Christ. A little solidarity from institutions would be nice here!

I've been running gdcparties.com for a few years now. Some shitty company BlueberryAI decided they'd just take all the source code for the work I've done and reskin it, advertising it as their own. Jokes on them...it was still linked to my events spreadsheet, and now their website looks like this πŸ˜‰

She’s part of a group of citizens and green card holders who have been disappeared after their travel plans were disrupted.

This will go down in history with My Lai, Kent State, and Czechoslovakia 1968.

Killing little girls at a school in our name. What a dirty and war criminal government we have. They must face consequences. We must work to make them face consequences.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms

This was so much fun, and so well done. Six tight, well-paced short episodes, phenomenal cast of characters, some... interesting sight gags.

Perfect TV in the Game of Thrones universe.

You can binge it in an afternoon in not much more time than a marvel movie.

Marty Supreme

The least enjoyable "good" movie I've seen in years. Not a single sympathetic character, constant high anxiety, a constant feeling of "this is ridiculous."

There were two scenes I enjoyed in the whole movie.

Just wanted it to be over.

Hamnet.

Worth the hype, a masterpiece from ChloΓ© Zhao.

Jessie Buckley is especially magnificent, Paul Mescal is magnetic, and the kidβ€”Jacobi Jupeβ€”WOW what a performance. I might need to go back and watch the last show he was in.

This jumps right to #2 on my list of Oscar contenders.

Media Matters analyzed a year of NYT coverage of anti-trans bills and found that 66% of the time the paper didn't quote a trans person. Further, it found that the paper often quoted right wing sources without mentioning their histories of anti-trans rhetoric.
So "right-wing rag" is pretty accurate.
