Shows of 2026 Emily in Paris season 1 because sometimes I just want something easy to watch when I’m getting ready for work. Paris looks great. It does feel like a 90’s romcom in a lot of ways for better and for worse.
So I feel like I might be in the minority here but I don’t really care about Min Ho and Kitty getting together. I like both characters but I don’t think that they’re each other’s endgame. If anything I still kinda ship Yuri and Kitty but I feel like that ship has sailed.
So watching full house and I love how even though Rain is a top Korean celebrity he seemingly does all his washing in a plastic tub and doesn’t have a washing machine. Was this normal in 2003 and did most Koreans not have a washing machine or were washing machines just not popular at the time?
Yeah he was the top of his class at high school and went to SNU but now he’s a civil servant working for his home town. He’s really dorky.
I feel like in an alternate universe he plays the prince or Dang-Gu. So that’s one thing going for this universe.
You know I’ve heard mixed things about this one. Hopefully I’ll get to it one day.
I mean it makes me wonder that there’s an alternate universe where he becomes a character actor and just plays these quirky side characters roles.
Shows of 2026 Twelve well I can’t say that I wasn’t warned. This show is bad but it is strangely inoffensive. There’s nothing interesting enough to truly hate but it does feel like a waste of everyone’s time. I was really hoping I’d find something to like here but I just don’t know how this was made
Shows of 2026. Watched Silo season 2 didn’t like it as much as the 1st season for me it suffered a bit from second season bloat and I missed the focus that the first season had. Still pretty good though
So one thing I find weird about when the weather is fine is just how dorky and not hot Lee Jae Wook is. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great performance but it’s strange to see him be so minor.
So still liking Honor. I can’t watch it and not think of Epstein. The way one of the characters goes well they’re rich so they’re probably going to get away with it. The way the rich people scheme to pin all the blame on the prosecutor. It just hits so close to home.
Shows of 2026. Bridgerton series 4. This was a fun take on Cinderella. Yerin and Luke were awesome. Pretty sure it’s going to be Francesca next and I’m looking forward to seeing if they’ll pull a sexy sapphic regency romance.
So watching when the weather is fine and I’m loving its cosy vibes and hanging out with all the eccentric netizens of this community. One thing I’m not loving is the Netflix translation where they’ll translate the name of the bookstore every time we go near it but not the episode titles.
Ok so I’ve decided to do a Korean recast of first wives club. I think Na Young-Hee for the Bette Midler Part. Oh Na-Ra for the Golfie Hawn Part and Yeon Hye-Ran for the Diane Keaton role . If nothing else this could be a comedy powerhouse. All these women are just so funny.
Yeah I think a lot of people do bury their heads in the sand over this issue. I got rid of all my Harry Potter stuff but it is just so ubiquitous and people don’t think before they buy stuff.
Shows of 2026 Marvel Zombies in one way I feel that mixing zombies with a comic book universe because you have zombies in a world with superpowers and what would a superpowered zombie look like. The problem is that it is a little depressing so having ms marvel really helps.
I quite like this list of Korea celebrities that Yoon supporters want you to report to the CIA. Even though this list was from when the insurrection was happening so maybe they would have updated it since then. But here are people worth supporting as they did stick their neck out at the time.
I really don’t think this is true. I suspect most of them are fairly apolitical apart from the fact that they’d like to pay less taxes. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure they’d have plenty of views that I’d disagree with but I doubt there are many with the level of brain rot this guy clearly has
Shows of 2026 Gyeongseong creature part 1. I really liked the setting here and the exploration of Japanese colonialism using horror. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the love story but for the most part I had fun with this one. Not sure how much I’m going to like part 2 though.
Prince of Egypt. Pretty good film in fairness. Also priest which was a rather explicit film about a gay priest that has a subplot about a child molesting dad. It was kinda weird because I went to a Catholic school and I was shown it in RE class.
Shows of 2026. Bit random but eyes of wakanda. TBH the animation here is so good that it’s wasted on children but some really cool epic stories. A fun watch
So quite enjoying Honor right now it’s nice to watch a show that’s so unapologetically feminist. I do feel a bit sorry for Lee Chung Ah whose job seems to be to hold the idiot ball to make the plot move forward but definitely appropriate right now with the Epstein stuff going on.
How has this taken over 4 years?
It’s weird playing Gyeongseong creature and ghost of Tsushima at the same time because one portrays a very positive view of Japan and the other doesn’t. It’s also kinda funny because ghost of Tsushima is about resisting invasion of a foreign force and Gyeongseong creature Japan is the foreign force.
One thing I find adorable about Twelve is that Ma Dong Seok must have really liked the Eternals and somehow managed to convince someone to give him 13.8 million dollars so he could basically make the Korean eternals. I low key admire the chutzpah.
So watching full house right now kinda interesting because I just finished up the glory. Because wow Song Hye Kyo’s character really doesn’t hold onto a grudge. So far it is very old school in that the male lead is quite punchable not the worse so far but very punchable.
Shows of 2026. Watched the first series of Silo. I do like the epic scale of Apple TV shows. This was good. It just feels like epic sci fi where it just really digs into an idea and explores it.

So really liking Honor so far. One thing I found interesting is that the show asks you to google sexual assault lawyer and they say that most of them focus on defence from false charges. So I did that and yeah all of them focus on defending you from sexual assault charges.
