From what I’ve read, there are no can manufacturers with the capacity in Canada so the aluminum gets sent to US, made into cans and shipped back. Now it will be tariffed both ways. Not sure about the hops the craft breweries get from the US.
We heard anecdotally that Canadians weren’t visiting the states, now we have the data. A massive, shocking drop.
So maybe 10% for Canada? This is unreal. I’m grieving for workers across the globe - let alone all of those who relied on USAID.
