Oh yes absolutely. Incredibly hard. I was trying to put myself in that (new friend's) position & figure out how I'd react, as someone who much prefers deep/real conversations soon into a friendship and doesn't shy away from hard subjects. What kind of reaction would make you feel..more comfortable?
