Btw finally went live with this email provider migration and sent something to 98% of my mailing list instead of 60% so belated merry Christmas to me! (Excuse the “rubbish” content.)

Spent two hours writing code to future-proof something only to change my mind and delete it because the scale of user impact wasn’t worth the tech debt.

Frustrating, but I’m also proud of putting perfectionism aside. Knowing when to say “no” or “that’s enough” is my most crucial dev skill lately!

Meanwhile, despite being a team of 1, I continue to be as descript as possible in pull requests and commits, even if it feels like I'm talking to myself. Because while code should be its own documentation, remembering the 'why' is just as important. Future Me has already thanked Past Me loads!
