Screencap of a Krishnan Guru-Murthy tweet quoting a Donald Trump post on TruthSocial:

KG-M: "Yesterday dinner with Farage. Today the salvo against Starmer."

DT: "The United Kingdom, our once Great Ally, maybe the Greatest of them all, is finally giving serious thought to sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East. That's OK, Prime Minister Starmer, we don't need them any longer- But we will remember. We don't need people that join Wars after we've already won!

Trump is in Putin's pocket.

Farage is in Trump's pocket.

Let us not forget this when we're voting in 2029, eh?

I suspect we may see more of this sadly. Clearly a response to Operation Epstein (Operation Midnight Hammer).

The important thing to remember is that it is the USA and Israel waging war against Iran. The UK military is there to protect UK citizens and they don’t stop doing that when a war starts.

Grateful that we have Starmer as PM in these turbulent times and not Blair. #calmerwithstarmer

"Some in US Christian evangelical circles see the bombing as part of a holy war that will lead to Armageddon – something they crave as they believe it will precipitate the return of Jesus Christ." 😧

The question is not whether or not you deliberately "target civilian targets".
The question is whether or not you killed civilian girls in a school.
If the answer is yes, you have the blood of innocent girls on your hands.

I’m so thankful we don’t have religious fundamentalists running the country here in UK (unlike Iran or USA).

Farage was dead against Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. But he can't be dead against Iran because it’s a war led by one of his friends.
Poor Nigel.

Sobering to think that we would have joined a reckless war in the middle east over the weekend had Badenoch or Farage been PM.

And we would be refusing to embrace an energy transition away from reliance on a deeply unstable region.

Starmer's sobriety definitely an asset in the last few days.

His peers (other world leaders) appreciate calm, measured leadership.
Voters appreciate shouty, showy soundbites.

I’ve just found out that a British MP lives in Dubai. Trying to get my head around this.

I absolutely agree with your second sentence. That was a ridiculous thing to do.
However, if you’re going to accuse Starmer of being β€œthe worst PM ever”… I can only assume you’ve decided not to debate this properly. Let’s leave it there.

For those who are hard of hearing at the back

If Farage was our Prime Minister .. we would likely be at war

LET * THAT * SINK * IN

All those scrambling up lamposts to put up Union Jacks, would now be on the conscription list

He has got lots of things wrong since becoming PM, but he has also got lots of things right. He also has a huge majority and he promised a decade of national renewal to undo the 14 years of Tory damage. I am personally glad he isn’t quitting.

In Peru they don’t have a two party system. In fact, they don’t really have parties. The result is a chaotic patchwork of many, many, many candidates and every single one of their campaigns is self-funded, hence the president always comes from a very wealthy background. Careful what you wish for!
