Area 51 diorama. New chain link fence. Added security cams. The lights are lit.
The saucer is coming.

I ended up replacing most of the HO Scale chain link fencing in the diorama. It turned out that the postholes that I drilled into the floor were causing the fence to bow. Drilling larger holes and using new sections of fence remedied the issue.
Speaker grille on bottom of saucer.
Speaker grille. The PropMaker will emit a low 100Hz tone modulated at 1Hz. Volume has been set to make it barely audible.

I have been using MS CoPilot to teach me about #CircuitPython and the @adafruit.com Propmaker RP2040 Feather. I have to say that I've learned quite a bit.
I ask questions (lots of questions) and challenge the answers that I disagree with. I am working on a system for lighting builds.
You can buy 3g of graphite for about $6 at the hardware store or you can buy 1.5 lbs for $24. Comes with a scoop, a funnel, a and needle applicator.
I don't remember the color of the Vallejo primer that I used on this build, but I used Tamiya Light Gunmetal as the base coat with graphite powder rubbed into the paint once cured. The graphite was then sealed in with a clear coat.
Detailss were added with DSPIAE Fluorescent markers.

I bought a hex base as a display. I was planning on covering it with HO Scale rocks and shrubs, until I saw a faux lava base online. So ordered.
Third abdominal section added to original βspiderβ. New parts have not been primed, painted, or graphite buffed.

The second (Multiple Legs Mecha Ver.) arrived today, and I wasted no time in adding a third abdominal section to the original build and replacing its missing foot.
The new parts have not been primed, painted, or graphite buffed.
TL,DR - Couldn't we just cut to the chase and tell us what he said that was true?
- 40 mm speaker for a little ambience.
I will be posting a short clip when it's finished.

Which brings us to the status of the Area 51 build.
The top of the saucer needs some bodywork and repainting. After that I'll be mounting the various electronic parts.
