This is when unprocessed loss (of any kind) builds over time, becoming heavier and harder to manage - like a pebble rolling down a sand dune, picking up speed. With ambiguous loss it can be common as grief is often complicated and traumatic.

Today at the Dying Matters event in Norwich, we explored ambiguous loss with stall holders - common at end of life, miscarriage, or suicide, where uncertainty or lack of closure makes grieving complex. Many local and national groups/organisations were present. Please reach out if you need support.
