I have a bunch of the smaller ones sorted and labeled in my antique desk. Lots of garnet etc

We seem to have a fair bit of epidote, amazonite, and serpentine in this little corner of Connecticut. Also green in my favorite color so greens have an unfair advantage in achieving the honor of ‘drawer o’ favorites’ lol

These are some of my favorite rocks I’ve collected since summer. No real requisite to make the drawer o’ favorites, just have to be pretty, unique, weird, smooth, or intersting.

Hahaha. I tried SO hard. Went out in the frigid cold at least a dozen times but missed every stinkin substorm. THIS pathetic purple smudge was the best I got 😫😫😫
