Right now, I feel like even if we're just pawns on a great planetary chessboard, the more of us are on the board the better chance we have.
And living our lives can help other pawns realize they're serving the wrong side and change. And even if *you* don't, you could be supporting someone who does.
How good will it feel to blow the dust off your law degree and use it as a can opener to extract people from nightmarish conditions?
My kobolds use names, if known, instead of pronouns, and they/them if not! (Also use names for members of other species instead of pronouns)
There are some writers I follow who I can see live in the same areas as each other, and every time I think about it I hope they know about each other and can reach out to each other if need be!
I know I follow some authors around me, but I haven't really connected with them yet myself either. 😅
