More recently, we've voted for measures to ban harmful social media for under 16s. Our harms-based approach to backed by 42 charities and experts calling for film-style age ratings for social media platforms.
We've also been pushing the government to take action after they launched a consultation.

Top-down planning and government policies have given developers the green light and leave Redbourn exposed to an increase of up to 70%.
They support housing - but are raising the alarm on top-down planning that doesn’t serve local needs, strains local services, fails on transport, and threatens irreplaceable chalk streams found nowhere else in the world.
This week, I secured and led a debate on the impact of planning on local transport and infrastructure.
The people of Harpenden, Berkhamsted, Tring, Redbourn, Sandridge & surrounding villages are no NIMBYs.
These ecosystems exist nowhere else on earth, and we cannot afford to lose them.

Harpenden & Berkhamsted are home to 4 of these precious waterways, including the River Ver, which has had nearly 10,000 hours of raw sewage pumped into it since 2021. That's not acceptable.
