35 years ago, I created this poster for a contest celebrating what was then the 25th anniversary of the Canadian flag. I won a trip to Ottawa to take part in the National Canada Day ceremony with all the other provincial and territory winners. I even got to meet Queen Elizabeth II. #flagday

I am still grieving. This is too soon.

It took me a long time to get to this stage, but I finally packed up 7 years of memories into one box today.💔😭 It was both heart-wrenching and therapeutic.
