Ventilation plays an important role in preventing airborne infections. Opening a window helps, but real ventilation is about consistent airflow. CO₂ monitors can give a simple signal of how much shared air is building up indoors.

CO2 monitors are great for estimating both air quality and the risk airborne disease transmission in a given space. A study just came out comparing the top of the line Aranet with a low cost alternative (Vitalight). Turns out they work just as well in typical environments.

My working memory is completely shot, I think of something that needs doing and unless I write it down immediately, I have feck all chance of remembering what it was.
