I can tell the exact minute the DayQuil wears off. π€§
Having the most fun making the #patchworkchorecoat #quiltsky
I think this is the scariest part of a sweater. Does it actually fit or as my grandpa would always say- βit fits where it touchesβ. π§Ά#knitsky
I find theyβre a little easier to differentiate when directional increases are important to the pattern.
But I always remember M1R is haRder π
You could also try lifted increases! youtu.be/W0V359rMUTs?...
I could have but it was clunky looking. Luckily I donβt hate weaving in ends π
Finished this sweater last week. Just needs some buttons. Only had to weave in 224 ends ππ»

Woke up today unwilling to put up with socks that have gotten a bit short and uncomfortable. Pulled them off my feet, ripped out the toes, and dug out the leftover ball (yay organized stash hoarding). By lunch time Iβll be able to put them back on. π§Ά #knitsky
Itβs so sparkly! Iβm obsessed.
I have been influenced and bought the silliest fun yarn. A sweater for the inner child maybe?

Just realized my dog pre-flinches when he comes in for pets because heβs waiting to get zapped with static shocks. π
Made some fish socks for my partnerβs friend. I havenβt done that much duplicate stitch in a while. Borrowed the fish from Claire Butchkoskiβs Trout Mitten pattern.

The dogs thatβs afraid of practically everything is totally fine with the walking pad???
I donβt think the cross stitch one does that but weβll be able to find the repeat and it would be a good place to start putting it into a knitting chart.
I can try and pop it into my cross stitch software. Itβs a little more detailed than my knitting software
Whatβs the challenge?
The wrapped Iβm most proud of ππ
For patterns like this I like to work in an assembly line style - I do ten middles, weave in the ends, then work ten of the next round, etc etc.
Finished this bad boy with plenty of time to spare. #crochetsky #handmadeholiday π§Ά pattern from NautiKrall Crochet
Black and white dog curled up on his side using a human leg as a pillow.
Spent the first half of the day with the devil in his heart, and now heβs a sweet baby.
Iβm always a little disappointed every year that my book related apps donβt offer a wrapped thingy. ππ
Oh yeah I never remember to get photos of FOs. By the time itβs done blocking Iβve moved on π
Just well practiced haha. Iβve been doing handwork since I was about three and went to school for fine arts/textiles
Not finished yet! Iβll probably pick it back up after the holidays.
Old farts are my main demo β€οΈ thank you for all of the kind words, youβve made my day
Especially when heβs asleep π
To be fair- all the yarn sold inside Michaelβs is kinda crap. And they havenβt had even sweater quantities of any one color for years.
Yeah I didnβt end up gifting this one. Just turned out kinda blah
Grannies are so fun! I usually use a continuous join as you go situation. Iβm not about to seam all those together.
