Such a measure would be folly - for everybody on the road.
Helmet and visibility mandates do not make cycling safer. Transport planning centred on people, however, does 🌍

It’s crucial that when we set out to make Ireland’s roads safer, we do so using evidence based legislation, proven to save lives in other jurisdictions, and once that legislation is in place we focus relentlessly on enforcement. We’re failing on both fronts right now.
