Neapolitan ice cream shows why consensus simply doesn’t work. People wanted chocolate. People wanted vanilla. A couple assholes wanted strawberry. But it turns out, no one REALLY wanted strawberry, so that chunk of ass would just sit there in the box, freezer burned and lonely.

I'm a fan of all of your stuff. Dig your comic posts and your vintage pictures. In some cases, there are cross-overs as a lot of those vintage pin ups clearly influenced the look of certain characters in comics. Keep it up! Glad to see you still posting!
Doing comics is primarily a hobby for me, but I have to say the ability to slip into my story and just create is like taking a vacation. The world just falls away and the hours tick by. Very lucky to have this hobby!

Superman was my guy! I had a Superman lunchbox at the time (no finger rays on that box!) The fight in the city and Superman realizing he needed to lead them away was great. But then it was right back to finger rays and whatever the hell that emblem becoming a "blanket" was. Ugh.

Judging by the amount of trainings, meetings, and testing this year, I can only surmise that the powers that be conducted a study in which they found students spend TOO much time with their regular classroom teacher. "Ya know what would improve achievement? LESS teaching!"
Superman II was one of the first movies I remember seeing in a movie theater. 6 year old me had this vague inkling of "Wait, Superman can't do that?!" Adult me sees it for what it is: a film that looks like it was made by two different directors because it was.

My eyes calmed down quite well, so I was able to do some better adjusting. I'm considering flipping the lower right panel, but I also think it was a good choice to take out the silhouette of The Woodpecker in order to save that for the big reveal on the next page.

I survived my semi annual shot in the eye.

A kid told me there is a rumor that I tell kids to use AI. I started to protest that what I actually said was that College Board has narrow allowances for its use, but I told her to tell that kid, "Hell yeah, use AI," and that I have "film maker" in my bio. Gonna see if that one takes off.
